Member Strategies - Mark B
Over the last few months, we've been sharing what other Form Ratings members have been having success with and this is Mark B's simple strategy.
Mark B.’s strategy? Clear FRN domination:
- He selects horses with an FRN at least 50 points ahead of the rival.
- A strict 3% betting bank stake is his financial mantra.

Using Mark B's strategy we can scan the cards from Wednesday 17th January 2024 as an example and find those that meet the criteria of horses with at least 50 above the next best on the FRN rating:
- 1.35 - Southwell - Cosheston (8/1 - 9.00)
- 1.45 - Newcastle - Stintino Sunset (9/4 - 3.25)
- 2.10 - Southwell - My Gift To You (IRE) (7/4 - 2.75)
- 2.20 - Newcastle - Mattella (2/1 - 3.00)
- 3.20 - Southwell - Iddergem (FR) (13/8 - 2.63)
- 6.30 - Kempton - Gaiden (IRE) (9/4 - 3.25)
While these systems offer a glimpse into a myriad of strategies, there's an entire spectrum of possibilities out there.
Most days there will be at least a few selections that are 50+ on our FRN rating so this can work for you to follow or help shape your own backing/laying strategy.
